Ha llegado el momento de presentaros la nueva página WEB de Beltza Records, después de año y medio de trabajo intensivo y más de una preocupación. Abandonamos, "por fin", el MS2 como programa de gestión y entramos por la "casa de atrás" en el Siglo 21 y 1/2. La resistencia por nuestra parte ha sido descomunal pero el digitalismo atroz no da respiro y era imposible seguir trabajando con un sistema operativo de 1981. Yo ese año escuchaba The Magnificent Seven - The Clash.
Siempre "tarde" y regular. Entrecomillo "tarde" por ser todo lo contrario, la primera dirección WEB de Beltza Records data de 1997/98 y así lo atestigua la contraportada del EP de Iskanbila "Hay que machacar" de 1999 editado por Beltza Label (proyecto que molaría retomar). Esa mítica URL fue htp://pagina.de/beltzarecords. Beltza Records fue la "primera" tienda de discos en España en tener página WEB. Si tienes conocimiento de una más antigua, estaremos encantados de ser la segunda o la quinta, incluso la décima o la vigesimoquinta. En todo caso la condición de pioneros internautas nos avala.

Quedan muchos detalles por pulir y mucho por mejorar, nunca hemos pretendido la excelencia, únicamente hemos querido tener un medio de comunicación hecho a nuestra imagen y semejanza. Antes te bastaba con un papel, unas tijeras y el bote lleno de pegamento y medio y lo llamábamos fanzine, ahora necesitas adsl, wi-fi y wiki y se llama blog, pero puedes comentar. Ahora, en la dictadura de las Redes Sociales, con una blogosfera superada o prácticamente muerta y unas páginas web estandarizadas a más no poder, la maquetación, la hoja de estilo, el diseño gráfico y la editorial siguen siendo rasgos inequívocos de nuestra manera de entender "el estado de las cosas" y han cambiado muy poco por no decir NADA. Sigue siendo un fanzine anclado en el digitalismo estético e informático de los años 90 (no muy apto para la adicción móvil) y reivindicador de la fanzinerosis de los "gloriosos" años 80. Entre la Generación X y la Y (Millennial) que liderará en el Siglo 21 y 1/2 un Z. La nueva Centuria de Beltza Records que bajo los mismos estandartes la llevará a la grandeza espiritual y artística otra vez. "Make Beltza Great Again".
Aun así hay un montón de novedades que irás descubriendo a medida que vayas navegando. Las más importantes son Beltza Experience: "Azken Muga of SOUL, una misión dedicada a explorar la cultura popular e investigar la antropología contemporánea. Viaja en nuestra nave a mundos desconocidos y descubre LA EXPERIENCIA" y Ultramarinos [Parroquia13]: "Un espacio delicatessen donde se combina de manera natural la alimentación de calidad, los objetos singulares y las actividades culturales". The time has come to present the new Beltza Records WEB page, after a year and a half of intensive work and more than one concern. We abandoned, "finally", the MS2 as a management program and entered the "back house" into the 21st and 1/2th Century. The resistance on our part has been enormous but the atrocious digitalism gives no respite and it was impossible to continue working with an operating system from 1981. That year I was listening to The Magnificent Seven - The Clash.
Always "late" and regular. In quotes "late" for being the opposite, the first WEB address of Beltza Records dates back to 1997/98 and this is attested to by the back cover of Iskanbila's EP "Hay que machacar" from 1999 published by Beltza Label (a project that would be cool to revisit). That mythical URL was htp://pagina.de/beltzarecords. Beltza Records was the "first" record store in Spain to have a WEB page. If you know of an older one, we will be happy to be the second or fifth, even the tenth or twenty-fifth. In any case, our status as Internet pioneers supports us.
There are many details to polish and much to improve, we have never aimed for excellence, we have only wanted to have a means of communication made in our image and likeness.
